Privacy policy

The short version

BendMate doesn’t need an account, and the app doesn’t send your measurements, benders or saved bends anywhere. They stay in your browser on your device.

This website

bendmate.com is a set of static pages. It doesn’t set cookies or use analytics or advertising trackers. Like any website, the company that hosts it may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to run and protect the service.

The app

Your settings, the benders you add or edit, and the bends you save are kept in your browser’s storage on your device. We can’t see them. Clearing your browser’s data for the app deletes them, so save a backup file from Settings if you want to keep them.

A share link carries the bend’s measurements and your bender’s numbers in the link itself. Anyone you send it to can see them.

The level reads your phone’s motion sensor on the device, only while the level is open. The readings aren’t stored or sent.

Buying BendMate

Payments are handled by our payment provider. They collect what they need to take the payment, such as your email address and card details, under their own privacy policy. We receive your email address and a record of the purchase, and use them only to provide and support BendMate.
