QuickBend for PC, Mac and the web
By Andrew ·
Quick answer
QuickBend is built as a phone and tablet app from the App Store and Google Play. If you want a conduit bending calculator on a Windows PC, Mac or Chromebook, BendMate runs in the browser with nothing to install: 17 bend types, 34 benders, printable cut sheets and offline use, for $5.99 once.
A bending calculator at a desk
Not all bending is planned on a phone. Estimators lay out a rack on a laptop, instructors project an offset on a classroom screen, and foremen print cut sheets in the trailer. QuickBend: Conduit Bending, by Bret Hardman, is a paid native app for iOS and Android, about $6.99 one-time at last check, made for phones and tablets. A web app is the simplest route to the same kind of calculator on a computer.
There is a second reason to want a browser: school and shop computers are often locked down, and installing software needs someone’s permission. A web page needs none, and it opens the same way on every machine.
Using BendMate on Windows, Mac and Chromebook
- Open bendmate.com in an up-to-date browser. There is no installer and no account.
- If your browser offers to install it as an app, you can; it then opens in its own window.
- Choose your bender and conduit size, pick the bend, and type your measurements.
- Print a clean cut sheet, or send a share link that opens the same bend on a phone.
Everything is drawn to scale with its measurements on the drawing, and a bend that will not work is flagged in red or orange before you waste a stick.
Moving between your computer and your phone
Your settings, benders and saved bends stay in the browser on each device and are never sent to us. Two things move work between devices:
- Share links carry the bend’s measurements and your bender’s numbers, so the link opens the same bend on the same bender.
- Backup files, saved from Settings, move your own benders and saved bends to another device.
- At the desk
- Lay out a rack of mixed sizes on a laptop
- Send
- A share link, or a printed cut sheet
- In the field
- Open the link on a phone and bend from the marks
- No signal?
- It still works once it has loaded

When QuickBend may suit you better
If you only ever bend from a phone and you already own QuickBend, you may not need anything else. A native app also suits you if you want to download it once from an app store and never think about a browser. BendMate is independent and not affiliated with QuickBend or its maker; the name is used only to identify what people search for.
Get the marks for your bender
BendMate works this out from your bender’s radius and deduct, flags a bend that won’t work, and shows you every mark.
Common questions

Yes. BendMate runs in the browser on Windows, Mac and Chromebook, with no installer or account. Open it, choose your bender and enter your measurements.
Is there a web version of QuickBend?
QuickBend is made as a phone and tablet app, so check its store listings for what it supports. BendMate is a web app made for any browser.
Do my saved bends sync between my computer and phone?
Not automatically: they stay on each device. Send a share link to open one bend elsewhere, or save a backup file from Settings to move your benders and saved bends.
